The Ritual in the Woods!
The heavy rain had been pounding
against the windows of my apartment for hours, and I was starting to feel a
chill in my bones. I had been trying to distract myself with books and TV, but
the eerie silence in the room was starting to get to me.
Suddenly, I heard a loud banging
coming from the hallway. I went out to investigate, but there was nobody there.
I slowly made my way back toward my apartment, and as I passed by the
stairwell, I heard a faint voice calling out. I stopped cold in my tracks and
held my breath.
The voice seemed to be coming from
one of the apartments down the hall. I was too scared to move, but something
compelled me to keep walking. I slowly made my way down the hall, feeling my
heart racing with fear. The voice seemed to be getting louder and I was
starting to recognize the words.
“Help me,” it said. “Help me,
please.” I knew I had to find out who was calling for help, so I cautiously
opened the door to the apartment.
Inside, I found a woman huddled in
the corner, her eyes wide with terror. She begged me to help her, and as she
told me her story, my blood started to run cold. She described a group of
people coming to her door the night before, people with pale faces and black
eyes. They had dragged her out of her apartment, and taken her deep into the
woods.
The woman said they had been trying
to perform some sort of ritual, but she managed to escape. I knew I had to do
something, so I vowed to help her find the people who had taken her and put an
end to whatever sinister plans they had in mind.
We started searching for clues that
same night, but the darkness and the rain made it difficult to find anything
useful. I was starting to lose hope, when suddenly I saw something in the
distance. A faint light coming from the woods. We decided to investigate, and
as we approached, I could feel an icy chill in the air.
We stepped closer and I could see a
huge circle of figures standing around an altar. I knew we had found them. I
could feel an evil presence in the air, and I knew I had to find a way to stop
them. I took a deep breath and stepped forward into the light.
