The Chosen One
It was a dark and stormy night, and
the wind whistled through the ancient trees. I was walking down a narrow path
in the woods, my flashlight barely illuminating the way. All of a sudden, a
figure appeared in the light. It was a tall woman wearing a long black dress.
She seemed to be gliding towards me, her eyes glowing like embers in the night.
I tried to turn and run, but
something held me in place. I couldn't move. I was paralyzed with fear. As the
woman moved closer, I could see her face more clearly. She had pale skin, her
eyes were wide and distorted, and her mouth was a gaping black hole. I wanted
to scream, but I couldn't make a sound.
The woman stopped in front me, and
I heard her voice in my head. She said, “You are chosen. You must follow me.” I
was so scared, but I felt compelled to do as she said. I followed her deep into
the woods until we reached a clearing. There was an old stone altar in the
center, with strange symbols carved into it.
The woman stepped onto the altar
and held out her hand. I reached out and took it. I felt an icy chill run
through my body as she began to chant an ancient ritual. Suddenly, a dark force
seemed to be emerging from the ground. I heard a loud rumbling and the trees
around me started to shake.
Then, out of the darkness, I heard
something. A voice, like a whisper. It said, “You are the chosen one. You will
be the one to help us.” I knew what I had to do. I had a mission now, and I had
to complete it.
The woman stepped back and vanished
into the night. I knew I had to find the answers I was looking for and find a
way to stop the dark force that was threatening my world. I was the only one
who could save us now.
